Templates
A template is a saved personalization configuration — fields, fonts, colors, surcharge — that you can apply to any product in two clicks.
Creating a template
Section titled “Creating a template”- Go to Templates in the app navigation and click Create template.
- Name it after the job it does — “Jewelry — first name, 15 chars”, *“Jersey — name
- number”*.
- Configure it exactly like a product: fields, required flags, limits, fonts, colors, surcharge.
You can also start from a configured product and save its setup as a template.
Applying a template
Section titled “Applying a template”- On one product: open the product’s configuration and apply the template from there.
- On many products: use Bulk apply to push a template to a whole collection or tag.
Applying a template copies the configuration onto the product — you can then fine-tune the product individually (adjust a limit, change the zone) without affecting the template or other products.
Editing a template later
Section titled “Editing a template later”Editing a template affects future applications only. Products configured from it keep their copied configuration — predictable, no surprise cascade across your catalog.
