Bulk apply

Bulk apply pushes a template onto every product of a collection or tag in one action — the way to onboard a 200-product catalog in minutes instead of an afternoon.

Bulk apply is part of the Pro plan (and Plus).

Running a bulk apply

1. Go to Products and choose the bulk action Apply a template.
2. Pick the template and the target: a collection or a tag.
3. Confirm. The app walks through the matching products and applies the template to each.

Behavior guarantees

• Existing preview zones are preserved. Products already carrying a zone keep it — bulk apply updates fields, fonts, colors and pricing without flattening the work you did on zones.
• Capped at 250 products per run, and the run is logged. For larger catalogs, narrow the target (per collection) and run several times.
• Products already configured are updated to the template’s setup (zones aside); products never configured get the full template.
• The Free plan limit (1 configured product) makes bulk apply effectively a Pro-plan operation; the app enforces plan limits server-side.

Suggested workflow for a large catalog

1. Group products by personalization pattern (e.g. necklaces: 1 name field, bracelets: initials, 3 chars, uppercase).
2. Create one template per pattern.
3. Bulk-apply each template to its collection or tag.
4. Pass over the bestsellers to draw preview zones — zones are the one thing worth doing product by product.
