Settings reference

Two places hold configuration: behavior lives in the app (Home page), appearance lives in the theme editor (app embed). This page lists everything.

App settings (Home page)

Notes:

• Remember … 0 days sets a session cookie: the visitor is asked again the next time they open their browser, but not on every page view.
• Redirect URL accepts full https:// URLs and relative paths starting with /. A bare domain (example.com) is normalized to https://example.com.
• Countries not present in the per-country table fall back to Minimum age.

Where settings are stored

Behavior settings are saved as an app-owned metafield on your store, which the theme embed reads directly in Liquid — this is why the storefront needs no network request to configure the gate. Appearance settings are standard theme settings, versioned with your theme. Neither contains personal data.
